Facilities at Awatea Tasman Bay’s Boutique Motueka Accommodation
Facilities use, including outdoor spa pool and media libraries, are at no additional cost to all our guests.
BBQ – Guests who are staying in our luxury Cottage accommodation have a gas BBQ located on a private, mini-patio.
Laundry – available on-site; please ask your hosts and they will arrange for personal laundry (in reasonable quantities) to be done for you, for a small charge.
Room Servicing – rooms are serviced daily with a change of used bed linen after two nights, unless otherwise arranged.
Hot Spring Spa Pool – Available for guest use between 8am and 10pm every day.
Meals and Beverages – Any additional meals and beverages purchased during your stay with us will be added to your final account, payable at check-out.
Free Wi-Fi – Connect to the Internet via our complimentary Wi-Fi network.
Wheelchair Accessibility – Very limited and in selected areas only (front ramp to Guest House, floor level showers). The Cottage is not wheelchair accessible.
Children – The rugged site conditions surrounding the Guest House and Cottage are not suitable for guests under the age of 18.
Smoking – Outside Only Please! – Ashtrays are provided for your convenience.
Damages – Will be charged against the guest’s credit card to the extent of the damage incurred. There is a charge for cleaning rooms (curtains, drapes, etc.) if the guest has smoked inside the room during their stay.
Pets – (dogs, cats, and other imaginable types) are not allowed. If you are travelling with a pet, we can suggest kennel/boarding facilities for you to contact prior to your arrival.

($25 per person for Cottage guests)
Continental breakfast and full/cooked breakfast is included in the room rates for Bay View Suite located in our Bed & Breakfast Guest House. Breakfast is not normally included in the room rate for our luxury Cottage, however you may enjoy breakfast in the Guest House for an additional cost of $25 per person per day.
Breakfast is generally available between 8am and 10am, but can be arranged outside these hours – just ask your hosts.
Our wholesome breakfasts include homemade breads, jams & spreads, orange juice, yogurt, seasonal fruit, cereals, espresso coffee, tea, and bacon & eggs cooked to order.
If you are walking in Abel Tasman National Park you can have lunch at the Awaroa Lodge Café or you can also pre-book a picnic lunch with water taxi operators such as Wilson’s Abel Tasman and Abel Tasman Sea Shuttles.
We have a bunch of menus from local restaurants available for you to browse in your room. We recommend reservations during busy holiday periods – just ask your hosts if you need some help with directions.

In-house Evening Meals
Join your hosts (and other guests) at the Guest House dining table for a relaxed home-cooked evening meal on Christmas Day (local restaurants are typically not open on the 25th of December).
Our Christmas dinner normally includes a soup, main, and dessert.
To accompany our Christmas dinner, we are proud to offer a selection of local Nelson region white wines from Blackenbrook Vineyard and Anchorage Family Estate, plus international red wines and New Zealand brewed beers.
